My 4 Furry BFF

Please help me spread the word about animal adoption so that animals will not die but live wonderful lives like my 4 furry best friends.

Wait ’till you meet my pups. Crazy having 4? Ya a little…so I hope to make you smile with each post and think twice about buying a dog or any animal and save one instead.

DIESEL:
This is Diesel who came to me as Hobbs from Moosonee Puppy Rescue when he was 8weeks old. He loves the snow(glad one of us does), burrows in it if you can imagine from this photo.

He looks like your average husky mix but with one special exception: He has 3 legs.   What happened to his leg?….abuse with an axe. more about his story next post.

Awww Diesel, my Mom is in love! Please tell your folks to post your info here in our Rescue Forum. We’ve put your post on our Tripawds Facebook page too. Keep us posted OK? With a sweet face like yours, I know you’re gonna find a great home.

You are so sweet. Diesel has a great home. He has been with me for over 5yrs now. I’m featuring 12 rescued animals a year with: where they came from, their challenges and stories from there ie) water therapy for arthritis etc. and most importantly their happy endings. There are so many wonderful happy endings. I’m hoping to create more awareness for adopt don’t buy. Thanks for the offer to post and find a home for him. This is an outstanding site. So glad to find it!

Having three legs is no exception around here! 🙂 Diesel is an awesome lookin’ pup! We look forward to hearing more about his story.

PS: To keep large photos from looking like they do above, you might consider reviewing Jerry’s tips about preparing photos for blog use.

So…yours might be the first color coordinated adopted pack I have seen!!
    Diesel is fantastic looking!
I so agree with the idea of adoption, a co-worker is just about to spend big bucks for a pure bred lab from a breeder. Why the &#@* do people continue to breed and sell dogs??? Wonderful animals are everywhere, including pure bred rescues, waiting for loving homes. It takes every ounce of my restraint not to tell her what I think. My sweet JD came from a shelter liter and my two new girls are also rescues.
sorry to rant on your blog.
Looking forward to seeing the profiles of the other members of your family. Thanks for sharing.

I replied via email…see I’m really new to wordpress. I’ll get there. Thanks so much for the rant. I know exactly how it feels. I hope my 12 animals this year will make people think differently about animal rescue adoption. They give so much back. Diesel knows how lucky he is to be alive. He has forgiven humans for what they did to him. I just can’t imagine that. I’m so lucky to have him as part of my life. Thanks for the note. I look forward to reading your stories too.
